We take on challenges. One of them was the post-production of pieces that qualified for the final of the 1st Mieczysław Karłowicz International Composition Competition organized by the ZAiKS Authors’ Association and the Szczecin Philharmonic.
The jury judged 176 works: from Argentina, Austria, Belarus, Brazil, China, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Greece, the Netherlands, Spain, Canada, South Korea, Macedonia, Germany, Poland, Sweden, the USA, Great Britain, and Italy. Six compositions qualified for the final were premiered by the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
The detailed 4k resolution video material required an adequate audio layer. Paweł Lipski and Michał Rypień – sound engineers from TAKE 1 STUDIO – rose to the challenge, mixing and mastering the competition material in our native environment.
